Our Founder’s Philosophy

Anita Bhattacharjee, an established veteran of the cleaning services sector, founded Green FootSteps, Inc. Her mission is to provide New York City commercial clients with trustworthy, eco-friendly cleaning services that will create long-lasting, healthy and safe environments.

While growing up in Singapore, Anita learned that simple cleaning solutions, such as hot water, soap and a little bit of ‘elbow grease’ were equally effective and more environmentally friendly than chemical-based housecleaning products. For over thirty years, Anita has applied this philosophy to all of her professional experiences, most notably as the founder of Green FootSteps (GFS).
